Our former banking hall transforms into one of Fleet Street's most spectacular party spaces when you hire the Entire Venue at The Old Bank of England. We've hosted everything from wedding receptions to milestone birthdays in this Grade II-listed building, and guests always tell us they've never partied anywhere quite like it. The main hall commands attention with its soaring Victorian ceilings and original chandeliers, creating an atmosphere that photographs beautifully whether you're planning an intimate gathering of 100 seated guests or a cocktail reception for up to 450. Natural light pours through our large windows during daytime events, while evenings see the warm glow from our brass fixtures and polished wood bar creating an inviting ambiance that keeps the conversation flowing. We know flexibility matters when you're planning an event, which is why we've designed multiple spaces within the venue. Our elegant library offers a quieter corner for those wanting to catch up away from the main festivities, while our exclusive private rooms work brilliantly for VIP areas or quieter moments during your celebration. The real conversation starter, though, sits in our rear courtyard, where we've parked a vintage Routemaster bus that we've seen transformed into everything from a quirky cocktail bar to an unforgettable photo booth. Our in-house catering team serves proper British fare alongside our extensive drinks selection, including ales from McMullen's Hertfordshire brewery.
