Red velvet seating wraps around an open kitchen where our chefs craft sourdough pizzas, giving your guests dinner and a show rolled into one. The Mezzanine takes up the entire first floor of our Balham venue, with bi-folding doors that open onto a covered balcony overlooking the station road below. During summer parties, we throw open those doors and your celebration flows between the indoor space and outdoor terrace. In winter, the exposed beams and warm industrial lighting create an intimate atmosphere while your guests watch the kitchen team at work through the pass. Plants cascade from the ceiling and line the windowsills, softening the modern fixtures and bringing life to every corner. The space holds 80 guests for standing receptions or 50 for seated dinners, with flexible layouts that work for everything from 40th birthday parties to engagement celebrations. Your private bar sits in the corner, staffed by dedicated servers who know exactly when to top up the prosecco or bring out the next round of canapés. Being right above Balham Station means your guests can hop straight off the Northern Line or overground and be at your party within minutes. The covered balcony proves particularly popular for cocktail hours, letting smokers and fresh air seekers mingle outside without missing the action inside. We've hosted christening parties that started with afternoon tea service, birthday bashes that turned into impromptu dance floors, and anniversary dinners where guests ended up singing around the piano we wheeled in.
