The red walls and polished mahogany give The Negroni Bar its character, tucked away in our mews cottage like a well-kept secret waiting to be discovered. This ground-floor hideaway seats 20 for dinner or welcomes 40 guests for drinks, with leather banquettes and club chairs arranged around candlelit tables that catch the light from our crystal chandelier. We've lined the walls with an eclectic collection of Scottish landscapes and jazz memorabilia, while the bar itself stands ready with aged whiskies and, naturally, the ingredients for a perfect negroni. The space opens onto our courtyard garden, where guests often spill out on warm evenings, cocktails in hand. For seated dinners, we arrange the room with proper elbow room and sight lines that let conversation flow naturally. Standing receptions see the space transformed, with high tables positioned for easy mingling while our bartenders work their magic. The flatscreen TV and sound system handle everything from presentation slides to party playlists, and yes, we've got teleconferencing sorted for those hybrid meetings that seem to be everywhere these days. Our kitchen sends through anything from canapés to three-course feasts, all served by staff who know when to hover and when to disappear. The alcohol licence runs until 1am, giving plenty of time for toasts, speeches, and that inevitable "one more round" that marks the best celebrations. Victoria Station sits just minutes away on foot, making arrivals straightforward whether guests are coming from across London or further afield.
