Three interconnecting rooms lined with warm wooden paneling make up the Tuke Common Room, where natural light pours through tall windows overlooking York Lawns. We've hosted everything from 30-person board meetings to cocktail parties for 100 here, and the flexibility of the space continues to surprise our regular clients. The polished wooden floors reflect the glow from our chandeliers, creating an atmosphere that shifts beautifully from daytime conferences to evening celebrations. During summer parties, guests often drift between the indoor space and our gardens, drinks in hand, while the floor-to-ceiling curtains can be drawn when you need a more intimate setting for dinner parties or private gatherings. We've configured this room in countless ways: U-shaped for 24 during training sessions, classroom style for 36, theatre seating for 80, or cabaret rounds for 40. The integrated PA system handles everything from presentations to party playlists, and our breakout spaces give your guests room to mingle between sessions or during intervals. Come evening, the atmospheric lighting transforms the space completely.
