The De Montfort Suite welcomes you with the grandeur of an Edwardian Council Chamber, where triple-height ceilings soar above your wedding celebration. Original plaster statues by Henry Poole watch over the space, depicting 'Truth' and 'Happiness', while expansive arched windows filter daylight through intricate stained-glass panels, casting warm patterns across the rich wood paneling below. We've preserved every historic detail whilst creating a space that works beautifully for modern weddings. The grand piano in the corner has accompanied countless first dances, its music drifting up to the glass mezzanine that adds both extra space and theatrical drama to your celebration. Below, our contemporary furnishings, plush sofas and stylish dining chairs complement rather than compete with the heritage features. For intimate wedding breakfasts, we arrange banquet seating for 60 of your closest family and friends. When it's time to open up the celebrations, the suite transforms to welcome 110 guests for drinks and dancing.
