Our Private Dining Room sits on the sixth floor, where morning sun streams through the windows and catches the rich burgundy of the chair upholstery. We've watched countless business dinners unfold around this antique dark wood table - twenty people can gather here comfortably, with enough space for everyone to lean back and truly engage in conversation. The purple textured wallpaper creates a sense of occasion without being overwhelming. We chose this particular shade because it works equally well for breakfast meetings and evening dinners. The red carpet underfoot adds warmth and helps with acoustics, so conversations stay private even when the discussion gets animated. One feature our regular clients particularly appreciate is the balcony overlooking our Main Hall. We can keep it open during cocktail hour, letting the energy from larger events below filter up, or close it completely when you need total privacy for sensitive discussions. The view down into that ash-paneled space often becomes a talking point itself. Seasoned Events, our catering partners, know this room inside out. They've served everything from working lunches with laptops open between plates to seven-course tasting menus here. They handle kosher, halal, vegan and gluten-free requirements without fuss, adjusting each menu to what works best in this more intimate setting. The practical elements blend into the background: air conditioning keeps everyone comfortable through long negotiations, Wi-Fi handles multiple devices without dropping, and we can bring in a 70-inch plasma screen when presentations are needed. The PA system works well for the space, though the room's natural acoustics mean you rarely need amplification. Getting here from Moorgate Station takes about five minutes on foot. Most of our Private Dining Room bookings are for board dinners, partnership discussions, or those occasions when twenty decision-makers need somewhere that feels special but not ostentatious.
