The Sky Pool floats above London on Level 52 of The Shard, where the city unfolds in every direction through our floor-to-ceiling windows. As Western Europe's highest hotel pool, this 10.6-metre infinity-edge sanctuary offers something extraordinary for intimate gatherings and special celebrations. We've designed this space to work beautifully for different occasions. During daylight hours, watch the Thames wind its way past St. Paul's Cathedral while trains weave through the city far below. As evening arrives, the pool area transforms into an extension of GŎNG bar, where up to 18 guests can gather for receptions with London's glittering skyline as their backdrop. The heated waters maintain a comfortable 25°C year-round, though most event guests prefer to admire the pool rather than swim in it. Our elegant seating areas around the pool create natural conversation spaces, with plush furnishings and ambient lighting that shifts from bright and airy by day to warm and atmospheric after dark.
