When you book the Whole Venue at Andrea 47 Ludgate Hill, you're taking over a Victorian bank that's been hosting London's most memorable parties since 1891. Our terracotta-fronted building stands proud on Ludgate Hill, just 200 metres from St Paul's Cathedral, with original features that tell stories of its banking past, from the soaring plasterwork ceilings to the stunning green marble floors that catch light through our arched windows. The main bar commands attention with its elegant marble countertop, where our bartenders craft cocktails with Victorian precision. This central hub naturally draws your guests together, whether they're perched on bar stools swapping stories or gathered around the mix of round and rectangular tables we've arranged throughout the space. We've kept the original wood panelling and added plush leather chairs alongside colourful upholstered seating, creating distinct areas where conversations flow as smoothly as the drinks. For larger celebrations, we accommodate up to 150 standing guests across both floors, with the grandeur of our Main Bar complemented by our underground Club Room complete with pool table and lounge spaces. If you're planning a seated dinner, we arrange for 65 guests with plenty of room for mingling between courses. Our kitchen serves modern British small plates designed for sharing, because we've learned that the best parties happen when people aren't stuck behind formal place settings. The Grade II listing means we've preserved every architectural detail while adding the essentials for contemporary events: WiFi throughout, projector and PA system for presentations or speeches, and full wheelchair accessibility. Both Blackfriars and St Paul's stations are minutes away, making arrival simple for all your guests. We're open Monday to Friday from midday until 11pm, ready to transform our historic banking hall into the backdrop for your celebration.
