The Flying Scotsman transforms from daytime sophistication to nighttime energy with the flip of a switch. We designed this space to capture Glasgow's social spirit, where white columns rise to meet modern spherical chandeliers that shift from soft amber during dinner service to vibrant party lighting as the evening progresses. Your guests enter through our main banking hall before discovering this versatile room, where up to 250 can gather for drinks or 110 can sit comfortably for dinner. Bold red tufted banquettes line the walls, paired with contemporary chairs that we arrange differently for each event. Corporate product launches use the central floor space for presentations, birthday parties cluster the seating for conversation, and wedding receptions often request our horseshoe configuration to keep the dance floor clear. Our private bar anchors one end of the room, its mirrored backing reflecting the warm glow from overhead lighting while bartenders craft cocktails just steps from your guests. Natural light pours through tall windows during afternoon gatherings, though most parties here start as the sun sets over Merchant City. The high ceilings mean music fills the space without overwhelming conversation, whether you bring your own DJ or use our built-in sound system.
