The Dining Area sits right at the heart of Harbour House, where those original wooden beams and ironwork from our 19th-century transit shed days create the perfect frame for your celebration. Natural light pours through the large windows that run along the harbour side, giving your guests front-row seats to Bristol's floating harbour, where narrowboats bob past and the water catches the light differently throughout the day. We've configured this semi-private space to work brilliantly for groups of all sizes, accommodating up to 80 guests for standing receptions or 50 seated around our wooden tables. The vaulted wooden ceilings soar overhead, draped with cascading greenery that softens the industrial bones of the building. Our walls feature nautical artwork that nods to the maritime history literally floating past the windows, while the contemporary furnishings keep things comfortable and relaxed. The space flows naturally for different party styles, whether you're planning a milestone birthday dinner, an anniversary celebration, or a relaxed wedding breakfast. Our kitchen team works their magic with seasonal ingredients from local suppliers, sending out sharing platters of our famous seafood linguine or kedgeree arancini that get passed around the tables. The bar runs along one side, where our bartenders keep the drinks flowing, from Bristol-brewed craft beers to our collection of British sparkling wines we've nicknamed "Britz." Modern touches like Wi-Fi, flatscreen TVs, and our PA system mean you can add speeches, slideshows, or background music to personalise your event. The space is fully wheelchair accessible, and we've got highchairs ready if you're bringing little ones along. With parking nearby and our events team handling all the details, you can focus on enjoying your party while we take care of everything else.
