The Grove Room is our secret weapon, tucked away beneath the main pub where the atmosphere shifts from Victorian grandeur to something altogether more intimate. Down the stairs, you'll find exposed brick walls that have watched over countless celebrations, their warm tones complemented by the soft glow of our carefully positioned lighting. We've designed this basement sanctuary to work however you need it. Those 80 standing guests at your product launch? They'll naturally flow between the striking green-fronted private bar and the velvet-upholstered benches that line the walls. Planning something more formal? We can comfortably seat 40 for dinner, with high tables and stools creating different zones for mingling before and after. The private bar is fully yours for the evening, stocked with everything from craft beers to top-shelf spirits. Our bartenders know their stuff and they'll keep the drinks flowing while you focus on your guests. The TV screens mounted around the room mean presentations are visible from every angle, though honestly, most parties end up using them for photo slideshows or match highlights. Being underground means no natural light, but that's never been a complaint. The lighting creates exactly the right mood, whether you're hosting startup drinks, a milestone birthday, or pre-wedding celebrations. The dance floor has seen some spectacular moves over the years, and the sound system handles everything from background jazz to full-on party anthems. Victoria Station is literally around the corner, making those "one more drink" decisions easier when the last train isn't a worry. Our kitchen upstairs keeps everyone fed with proper pub food done well, no external catering needed.
