Step through the heavy wooden doors into The Victorian Library and you're immediately surrounded by floor-to-ceiling bookshelves housing volumes that have watched over this space for more than a century. We've kept every original detail intact—the wooden floors that tell their own stories, the tall windows that frame the bustling city below, and those magnificent shelves that transform any gathering into something rather special. During the week, our polished wooden tables host board meetings for twelve, but we love seeing how the space comes alive for celebrations. Picture your guests mingling amongst the books, champagne in hand, as evening light filters through those grand windows. We can seat 24 for an intimate dinner party, or clear the furniture to welcome up to 60 guests for a standing reception—birthday parties here have a way of feeling both grand and wonderfully personal. The high ceilings and warm wood create natural acoustics that work beautifully whether you're giving a heartfelt speech or simply enjoying conversation over drinks. We've discreetly added modern touches where they matter: our projector and AV setup blend seamlessly into the historic interior, and the Wi-Fi keeps everyone connected without disrupting the atmosphere.
