The sloped Georgian ceiling adds character while keeping things intimate, and the wooden floors have that satisfying creak that reminds you you're in a building with real history. Up to 50 guests can gather here comfortably for drinks receptions, making it just right for birthday celebrations, engagement parties, or those work events that deserve something more special than a standard venue. What makes the Mezzanine particularly appealing is how it gives you privacy while staying connected to the energy of Tap & Bottle below. Your guests can explore our collection of over 120 wines, focusing on sustainable European producers, with our team on hand to guide them through new discoveries. The food keeps things uncomplicated but memorable, with cheese and charcuterie boards sourced from Borough Market vendors and our much-loved toasties that have regulars coming back. The space works beautifully for different party styles, from relaxed afternoon gatherings that stretch into evening to more structured celebration events. Being tucked between Southwark and London Bridge stations means everyone can find us easily, though once your guests climb the stairs to the Mezzanine, the city noise fades away.
