The original ticket hall's industrial grandeur comes alive in Arch 1 & Arch 2, where 3,500 square feet of Victorian railway architecture creates an extraordinary backdrop for celebrations. These interconnected spaces flow naturally beneath the curved brick ceilings, with the original station clock still marking time as it has since 1865. We've designed Arch 1 as the more intimate of the two spaces, where industrial lighting trusses cast warm patterns across the exposed brickwork. The polished concrete floors reflect the carefully positioned lights, creating depth and atmosphere that photographers love. This arch comfortably hosts 180 guests for standing receptions, seats 100 theatre-style, or accommodates 70 for seated dinners where conversation flows as easily as the drinks. Arch 2 opens up the possibilities with its larger footprint and blank canvas approach. Here, we regularly transform the space for everything from product launches hosting 250 standing guests to wedding banquets for 180. The high curved ceilings and clean sightlines mean projection mapping looks spectacular against the brick, while our d&b sound system delivers crystal-clear audio whether you're making speeches or dancing until midnight. When both arches combine, the full space welcomes up to 450 guests, with natural flow between the two areas. Our ducted air conditioning keeps everyone comfortable year-round, while the 10GB network connection means tech-heavy events run without a hitch. The commercial kitchen handles catering requirements smoothly, and our private loading bay makes vendor access simple. Just steps from Old Street station, your guests can easily explore Shoreditch afterwards, perhaps grabbing drinks at Boxpark or late-night food on Brick Lane. Our full premises licence runs until midnight, with extensions available when the party needs to continue. Whether you're planning a corporate conference, wedding reception, or art exhibition opening, these historic arches provide both the infrastructure and atmosphere to bring your vision to life.
