The Grand Temple and The Vestibules form the heart of our Grade II* listed building, where Art Deco craftsmanship meets contemporary event possibilities. Your guests enter through the exclusive Tower Doors into a space where handcrafted mosaic ceilings soar above, their intricate patterns depicting Masonic symbols and the four cardinal virtues in stunning detail. With fixed theatre-style seating for up to 1,350 guests, we've watched countless concerts, award ceremonies and keynote speeches come to life here. The acoustics are remarkable, every whispered word from the stage carries to the furthest balcony, while orchestral performances fill the space with rich, resonant sound. When we clear the production setup, the Temple opens up for receptions hosting 1,100 guests, with the ornate checkerboard floor becoming a dance floor or exhibition space beneath those magnificent ceilings. The Vestibules add wonderful flexibility to your event. These adjoining spaces transform using ornate dividing doors, creating three distinct areas perfect for pre-dinner drinks, VIP gatherings or refreshment stations. During fashion shows, we often use them as backstage areas, while for conferences they become natural breakout rooms where delegates can network between sessions. Our central Covent Garden location puts you within walking distance of both Holborn and Covent Garden stations.
