The Cellar brings together centuries-old architecture with the practical needs of modern meetings. We've preserved the original vaulted ceilings and exposed brick walls from the Victorian era, creating a space that immediately sets your gathering apart from typical boardroom settings. The wine racks and oak barrels that line the walls aren't just decorative, they're part of the building's heritage as former wine storage vaults beneath Whitehall. Our careful restoration has maintained the authentic character while ensuring comfort for today's meetings. The ambient lighting system allows you to adjust the atmosphere from bright working conditions to a more relaxed tone for evening presentations. We've arranged the space to accommodate 20 colleagues around banquet-style tables for workshops or training sessions, while reception-style meetings can welcome up to 40 attendees. The natural acoustics of the brick archways create excellent sound conditions for presentations without echo or interference. We've installed discreet power points throughout the room and our high-speed Wi-Fi extends fully into this underground space, supporting video conferences and digital presentations without interruption. The temperature-controlled environment remains comfortable year-round, particularly appreciated during London's warmer months.
