Our Events Auditorium strikes you immediately with its bold red and black interior, a contemporary space where important conversations happen daily. This partially raked auditorium on the first floor seats 150 people in theatre-style configuration, with plush red chairs that keep everyone comfortable during full-day sessions. We commissioned this space in 2016 specifically for professional gatherings, and it's become our most requested room. The five-metre screen dominates the front wall, paired with our ceiling-mounted projector that delivers crystal-clear presentations. Wireless microphones move freely around the room, while our audio recording system captures every word when needed. The geometric ceiling pattern incorporates modern lighting that brightens the space without glare, and illuminated steps guide attendees safely to their seats. What really transforms meetings here is the flexibility we've built in. When you need more space, we open the connecting wall to our Learning Room, expanding capacity to 250 people. This works particularly well for conferences that alternate between presentations and breakout sessions. The complimentary catering area sits just outside, making coffee breaks and networking lunches flow naturally without disrupting the main programme. Our riverside location at Kew brings something different to your meeting experience. Between sessions, attendees often walk down to our landscaped grounds, where two lakes with fountains provide a refreshing change of scene. The technical team stays close throughout your event, managing all AV requirements so your presentations run smoothly on our integrated systems. From academic conferences to corporate training days, government workshops to AGMs, this auditorium handles them all. The combination of professional facilities and our peaceful Thames-side setting creates an environment where productive work happens naturally.
