Gold-framed portraits watch over every meeting in our Scott Room, where generations of Edinburgh's finest minds have gathered around the same polished table. We've arranged this space to make the most of its Georgian proportions, with those wonderful tall windows drawing your eye to George Street below while flooding your presentations with natural light. The room works beautifully for different group sizes. We regularly set it boardroom-style for strategy sessions of up to 22 people, where everyone can see each other clearly across the table. For larger presentations, we configure theatre seating for 40, with clear sightlines to our built-in screen. Our catering team from Edinburgh Catering Company particularly enjoys serving formal dinners here, where 40 guests can dine beneath the ornate cornicing, or we can arrange standing receptions for up to 60 when you need more networking space. Two smaller rooms connect directly to the Scott Room, which our regular clients use cleverly. Some set up refreshments in one while using the other for breakout discussions. Others appreciate having somewhere quiet for confidential phone calls during breaks. The built-in PA system means speakers don't need to raise their voices, even when addressing 40 colleagues, and our air conditioning keeps everyone comfortable during those long afternoon sessions. The original fireplace remains a talking point, though these days it frames our modern presentation screen rather than warming the room. We've kept all the period details that matter, the intricate plasterwork, those impossibly high ceilings, while ensuring our WiFi reaches every corner reliably. Edinburgh Waverley Station sits just ten minutes' walk away, and there's paid parking on nearby streets. The building has full wheelchair access, including to the Scott Room itself, making it accessible for all your attendees.
