Our 13 rooms each tell their own story - the Kelvin Room wraps guests in deep burgundy velvet wallpaper that makes evening receptions feel particularly special, while the Wolfson Lecture Theatre floods with natural light through its modern windows, keeping conference delegates alert throughout day-long sessions. We can accommodate groups from 10 people in our smaller meeting rooms right up to 145 guests for larger conferences or dinner dances. Our technical team handles all the audiovisual requirements - they're here every day and know exactly which microphone works best in each space and how to quickly solve any projection issues that might arise. Working alongside the Edinburgh Catering Company, we serve everything from morning coffee and pastries to four-course dinners, with our chefs particularly skilled at handling various dietary requirements without any fuss. The building itself creates quite an impression when people first walk through our doors - original cornicing, marble fireplaces, and those impossibly high ceilings that Georgian architects loved. Yet we've carefully integrated modern necessities like air conditioning in the lecture theatre and reliable WiFi throughout. Edinburgh Waverley Station sits just a 10-minute walk away, which our international conference organisers particularly appreciate.
