At 345 square feet, this thoughtfully designed space has become a favourite among teams who appreciate both functionality and comfort during their working sessions. We've arranged the room to maximise flexibility, with foldable tables and chairs that quickly transform from boardroom seating for 25 to theatre-style rows accommodating 35 attendees. The large whiteboard mounted on our light blue walls sees plenty of action during brainstorming sessions, while the natural daylight keeps everyone energised throughout the day. What makes the Wates Room particularly effective for meetings is the attention we've paid to acoustics. Sound-absorbing panels line the walls, ensuring conversations stay focused and confidential. The red carpet underfoot adds warmth to the space, creating an atmosphere that feels professional yet welcoming. Our venue provides all the practical elements you need for a successful meeting: reliable Wi-Fi throughout the building, various table configurations, and presentation equipment including projectors when required. The room's compact size makes it ideal for board meetings, training sessions, and team workshops where everyone needs to engage closely with the material. You'll find us in our Grade II listed building on Battersea High Street, just a 10-minute walk from Clapham Junction station. Street parking becomes free after 4:30pm on weekdays and all weekend, making evening sessions particularly convenient. We're open seven days a week, with rates at £25 per hour for charities and £30 for corporate bookings, plus a £100 refundable deposit.
