About Katherine Low Settlement Ltd
Every day since 1924, the doors of Katherine Low Settlement have opened to welcome the Battersea community into our Grade II listed building on the High Street. We've been hosting meetings, training sessions, and celebrations here for a century, and our five distinctive rooms each tell their own story. The Art Room catches the morning sun through its large windows that open directly onto our courtyard. With 350 square feet, we find it works perfectly for teams of up to 20 people who appreciate natural light during their meetings. Our Chapel Room spans 810 square feet and fills with daylight throughout the day - the full-length mirror along one wall makes it particularly popular for rehearsals, though we regularly host conferences here for up to 70 standing guests or 50 seated. Down the corridor, you'll find our Snooker Room, where the original pool table still takes pride of place alongside the new wooden floor we recently installed. This 810-square-foot space comfortably fits 40 people and brings a unique character to any gathering. The Keith Chapman Room matches the Chapel Room's dimensions, accommodating the same numbers, while our Wates Room offers a more intimate 345-square-foot setting ideal for board meetings or training sessions with up to 25 participants. We provide all the essentials - free Wi-Fi throughout the building, tables and chairs in various configurations, plus projectors and whiteboards when you need them. Our doors are open seven days a week, just a 10-minute walk from Clapham Junction station. Street parking becomes free after 4:30pm on weekdays and throughout the weekend. Our rates reflect our community roots: £25 per hour for charities, £30 for corporates and individuals, and £45 for private functions, with a £100 refundable deposit to secure your booking.
