We've arranged sixteen chairs around the polished boardroom table, though the space transforms easily when you need theatre seating for forty or a more social setup for thirty guests at a reception. Those inscriptions tell stories from centuries past, while the original fireplace anchors the room with its carved stone surround. We find the soft neutral palette helps teams focus, particularly during strategy sessions or board meetings that run through the afternoon. The traditional mirror above the mantelpiece reflects both daylight and the warm lamp lighting we use when Winchester's weather turns grey. For formal occasions, we can arrange the room for twenty-four seated guests at round tables, perfect for awards dinners or client entertainment after your main meeting concludes.
