Our soundproof Next Steps Studio offers 180 square metres of flexible space where community groups, businesses and charities hold their most important gatherings. The mirrored wall along one side doubles the visual space while our light wood flooring creates warmth underfoot during full-day sessions. We've configured this room countless ways over the years. Theatre-style, we fit 30 people comfortably for presentations using our ceiling-mounted projector. Switch to classroom layout and 20 participants have proper desk space for note-taking and laptops. U-shaped arrangements work brilliantly for board meetings with 15 people, while café-style seating creates a more relaxed atmosphere for creative workshops. Standing receptions accommodate up to 30 guests when you need space for networking. The air conditioning keeps everyone comfortable even during summer strategy sessions, and the soundproofing means confidential discussions stay private. Track lighting runs across the ceiling, providing consistent illumination whether you're reviewing detailed documents or running interactive exercises. We keep flip charts and PA equipment ready if you need them. Beyond the studio walls, our venue offers additional resources that enhance any booking. The café downstairs serves proper barista coffee and freshly prepared lunches Tuesday through Thursday, ideal for working lunches or breakfast meetings. Groups often use the mezzanine as a breakout space, where the pool table and comfortable seating help reset minds between intensive sessions. Getting here is straightforward with several bus routes stopping nearby on Oak Street. We maintain a few parking spaces specifically for guests with mobility requirements, though most attendees use street parking or public transport. The contemporary design throughout the building, recognised with two architectural awards in 2020, creates an environment where productive work happens naturally rather than feeling forced.
