The Terrace Room at our venue offers something refreshing for Cambridge meetings: proper daylight streaming through floor-to-ceiling windows that frame views of our private garden and Parker's Piece beyond. We've hosted everything from board meetings to training sessions in this space, and the natural light consistently helps keep energy levels up throughout the day. The room works brilliantly for different group sizes and formats. We can arrange seating for 30 delegates around a boardroom table or in U-shape configuration, perfect when you need everyone engaged in discussion. For workshop-style sessions, our cabaret layout seats 32 comfortably, while presentations work well with theatre seating for up to 40. The wooden tables provide generous workspace, and we've equipped the room with a large presentation screen and full AV facilities. What makes the space particularly comfortable is the combination of air conditioning and those expansive windows. The plush seating, a mix of blue and patterned upholstery, keeps delegates comfortable during long sessions. We can also set up a private bar in the room, which works well for networking sessions or when you're hosting VIP clients. During breaks, your group can step directly onto our outdoor terrace, or take a short walk across Parker's Piece. We're right in the city centre, making it easy for attendees coming from the university colleges or arriving by train. The Botanic Gardens are nearby if anyone fancies a lunchtime stroll. Our kitchen team provides everything from working breakfasts to full lunch service, with locally sourced ingredients prepared fresh. Between the garden views, the natural light, and the flexibility of the space, the Terrace Room creates an environment where productive work happens naturally.
