We named this space after the beloved filmmaker whose work The Illusionist captured Edinburgh's charm, and the room carries that same blend of elegance and warmth that makes people feel instantly at ease. The soft pastel walls create a calming backdrop for focused discussions, while natural daylight pours through the generous windows throughout the day. Two original fireplaces frame the space, their mantels adding character without dominating the room. Above, ornate ceiling mouldings remind visitors of the building's heritage, while our modern track lighting ensures perfect visibility for presentations or detailed work. We've preserved the original hardwood floors that add warmth underfoot, and the room's flexible layout adapts easily to different configurations. For presentations, we arrange theatre-style seating for 35 people, ensuring everyone has clear sightlines to the flatscreen TV at the front. When networking events or informal gatherings take place here, we can accommodate 50 guests standing, with plenty of space for natural circulation. Our tech setup keeps things simple and reliable. The flatscreen TV connects seamlessly to laptops, and Wi-Fi coverage remains strong throughout the space. Ground-floor positioning means no stairs to navigate, and our lift provides easy access from other floors when needed. The gallery's position in West Parliament Square, directly across from St Giles' Cathedral, places you in Edinburgh's historic centre.
