We've carefully preserved the Victorian character of this space while ensuring it works brilliantly for modern business needs. The room sits within our historic complex, where Roman engineering meets Georgian architecture, though once you're settled in here, the focus turns entirely to your agenda. Natural daylight streams through tall windows dressed in heavy drapes, illuminating the intricate ceiling moldings and warming the patterned carpet beneath your feet. We find the pink upholstered chairs particularly comfortable for longer sessions, and the room's proportions create an atmosphere that encourages both concentration and conversation. For presentations, we've installed a projector and screen that blend discretely into the period features, while reliable Wi-Fi keeps everyone connected. The space works beautifully in different configurations. We regularly arrange it theatre-style for 40 attendees when clients need to present to larger groups, or set it boardroom-style for 25 when discussion and collaboration take priority. Our catering partner Searcys knows exactly how to time refreshment breaks, whether you need morning coffee and pastries or a full working lunch served in an adjoining space.
