The Purton Room combines Georgian character with everything you need for productive meetings. Our larger conference space on the lower ground floor accommodates 25 delegates theatre-style or 14 around the boardroom table, with flexible layouts that adapt to your specific requirements. We've furnished the room with clean white tables and contemporary chairs featuring red accents, creating a professional environment that keeps everyone focused. The neutral carpeting helps with acoustics while maintaining the room's bright, welcoming feel. Your presentations run smoothly with our wall-mounted TV screen and flip chart already in place, so you can concentrate on your content rather than technical setup. Being on the lower ground floor, the room provides a quiet retreat from street noise, perfect for confidential discussions or intensive workshops. The Georgian architecture adds gravitas to board meetings and strategy sessions, while the modern fit-out ensures comfort during longer presentations. We can also arrange the space U-shaped for 16 participants when you need more interactive sessions. Our venue sits directly opposite Exeter Central station, making arrival straightforward for delegates travelling from Plymouth, Bristol, or London. Reception covers you Monday to Friday 9am-5pm, greeting your guests and directing them downstairs to the Purton Room. Between meetings, the communal areas upstairs offer space for informal conversations or coffee breaks.
