Our George Stephenson room gets plenty of natural light thanks to the large windows that run along one wall, something we find makes a real difference during long meeting days. The space comfortably holds 50 people in theatre style, or we can arrange it for 24 in boardroom or U-shaped layouts, depending on what works best for your session. The contemporary feel comes from the sleek wooden tables we use, paired with our signature red and black chairs that add a bit of energy to the room. Pendant lights hang overhead, giving you good illumination even on grey Birmingham days. We've installed a large screen at the front of the room, and we always have flipcharts ready for those moments when you need to capture ideas quickly during discussions. What makes this room particularly practical is its position just a few minutes' walk from New Street Station. We see plenty of teams bringing colleagues together from Manchester, London and beyond, all able to reach us easily by train. The advanced AV setup means your presentations run smoothly, whether you're delivering training, running a workshop, or hosting a strategy session. Our venue sits right in the Arcadian Centre, which puts you in the heart of Birmingham. When your meeting wraps up, delegates often appreciate being so close to the Bullring for a bit of shopping or the Hippodrome if they fancy catching a show. We have on-site parking available for those who drive, though there is an additional charge for this. The 24-hour bar downstairs sees plenty of use from groups who want to continue conversations after their formal agenda ends. Fogg's restaurant serves international dishes throughout the day, and with 159 guest rooms upstairs, anyone traveling from further afield can stay overnight without searching for accommodation elsewhere.
