The Compton Room welcomes up to 110 delegates theatre-style, or creates a more intimate setting for 24 around the boardroom table. Those tall windows flood the space with natural light all day, keeping everyone alert and engaged. We've kept the best of the building's heritage, those high ceilings and period details, while making sure the practical stuff just works. The AV equipment handles whatever presentation format you throw at it, and the air conditioning maintains comfort whether you've got 30 in classroom layout or 60 for a banquet dinner. The 107 square metres give you proper breathing room, so nobody's cramped even during full-day sessions. Our venue sits right opposite Exeter Central station, literally visible from the platform. Your delegates can step off the train and be settling into their seats within minutes. Free parking on-site too, which matters when you're bringing people in from across the region. Northernhay Gardens next door offers a peaceful escape during breaks, while the city centre shops are a two-minute walk if anyone needs to grab something. The flexibility here is key.
