The Music Room captures everything we love about hosting meetings and presentations in our Grade II* listed building. Natural light pours through the tall windows overlooking Bloomsbury Square, creating an atmosphere that keeps afternoon sessions energised and focused. Those high ceilings with their original moldings give the space a sense of openness that works particularly well for creative workshops and training days. We've furnished the room to handle various meeting formats comfortably. For theatre-style presentations, we can seat up to 65 delegates, while boardroom setups work beautifully for groups of 17. The U-shaped configuration accommodates 20 participants and proves popular for interactive training sessions. When clients need networking space or standing presentations, the room holds 80 people with room to move around. Two ornate chandeliers provide warm lighting that complements the daylight, and the wooden floors add warmth without creating echo problems during presentations. Our 50" TV and projection facilities handle most presentation needs effectively, backed by a reliable PA system. The white walls serve as natural projection surfaces when needed, and Wi-Fi coverage remains strong throughout. Past clients have appreciated the character of the space, particularly the interesting artwork that adds visual interest without dominating discussions. The Steinway Grand Piano in the corner occasionally features in creative sessions, though most meeting organisers simply enjoy it as an elegant room feature. You'll find us just a short walk from Holborn Station, with the British Museum nearby serving as a helpful landmark for first-time visitors. The square location means the room stays bright throughout the day. On warmer days, we do open the windows for fresh air, which brings in some street sounds but keeps the atmosphere comfortable, as several training groups have noted.

The space was good – except perhaps a bit warm and stuffy. We opened the windows as soon as we got in to air it out a bit. Near the end, it was getting warm again, even with the windows open. Because my team is a team of designers, the resolution on the tv screen wasn't...
