About Pushkin House
When you step through our doors at Pushkin House on Bloomsbury Square, you're entering a Grade II* listed building that's been hosting everything from intimate board meetings to lively celebration parties. We've preserved the original character of the building while making sure it works perfectly for today's events. Our Music and Function Room is where most of our larger gatherings happen - the high ceilings and tall bay windows create this wonderful sense of space, and the natural light streaming in from the square makes afternoon meetings feel less like work. We've got a Steinway grand piano in here that gets plenty of use during music recitals and book launches. The room holds up to 150 people when we open up the entire building, though we often host smaller groups of 40-50 for corporate presentations. The Gallery and Lecture Room has become our go-to space for film screenings and training sessions. We installed a full HD projector and surround sound system, and while some design teams have mentioned they'd prefer even sharper resolution, it works brilliantly for most presentations and educational courses. The artwork on the walls adds character without being distracting. For smaller meetings, our Drawing Room provides a more intimate setting - the leather chairs are particularly popular with executive groups who use it for pre-event drinks or focused discussions. Our Meeting Room next door handles the day-to-day business meetings and training courses. We're just a short walk from the British Museum, which makes us easy to find. The building can get warm on hot days - we usually open the windows to keep air flowing, though this means you might hear some street noise. Our in-house bar and reception area help everything run smoothly, and we work with several catering partners depending on what you need. The white walls and natural light make us a favorite for photoshoots and filming too.

The space was good – except perhaps a bit warm and stuffy. We opened the windows as soon as we got in to air it out a bit. Near the end, it was getting warm again, even with the windows open. Because my team is a team of designers, the resolution on the tv screen wasn't...
