Our Main Room with the Balcony transforms from comedy club to conference space, from awards ceremony to corporate party, all under the original Edwardian vaulted ceiling that gives this Grade II listed building its distinctive character. The acoustics created by this architectural feature mean your presentations carry effortlessly to every corner, whether delegates are seated at cabaret tables on the main floor or in the fixed theatre seating on the balcony above. We configure this space differently depending on your needs. For conferences and seminars, we arrange up to 60 cabaret-style tables draped in red cloth on the ground floor, creating an engaging environment where teams can work together while maintaining clear sightlines to the stage. The balcony accommodates an additional 165 guests in fixed theatre seating, perfect for larger presentations or when you need to separate different departments or guest groups. For networking receptions and standing events, the combined spaces hold up to 165 people comfortably. The professional PA system and lighting rig that serve our regular comedy nights and live performances work equally well for PowerPoint presentations and video conferences. Our technical team helps you make the most of these facilities, whether you're running a training day, product launch, or company celebration. The stage provides a natural focal point for speakers and presentations, while the flexible lighting can shift from bright working conditions to something more atmospheric for evening events.
