The Chapel sits on our third floor, a remarkable room where Sir Arthur William Blomfield's Victorian vision comes alive through every panel of warm wood that lines the walls. We often watch first-time visitors pause as they enter, taking in the soaring arched ceiling with its intricate woodwork that seems to draw your eyes upward. Natural light plays across the original altar throughout the day, creating different moods as morning meetings shift into afternoon workshops. This 8 by 5 metre space works beautifully for groups of up to 40 people in theatre style, though we find many prefer the more intimate cabaret arrangement for 15 when they want deeper discussion. The wood panelling does something special to acoustics here, wrapping voices in warmth that makes presentations feel more like conversations. Our portable PA and lighting systems are ready when you need them, tucked discretely away when you don't. The architect who gave us this space also designed the Royal College of Music and rebuilt Southwark Cathedral's nave, and you can feel that same attention to proportion and light here. We've hosted everything from strategy away-days to private performances in this room, each event seeming to unlock a different quality in the space. Some groups use the altar as a natural focal point for speakers, while others appreciate how the room's quiet atmosphere helps difficult conversations flow more easily. Just minutes from Bethnal Green station, getting here couldn't be simpler. Once you arrive, our café downstairs can keep your team supplied with proper coffee and those brownies everyone talks about. The Chapel remains in its original condition, offering something increasingly rare in East London, a meeting space where Victorian craftsmanship creates an atmosphere that no modern room can replicate.
