The wooden floors catch the morning light as we set up for another day in our Studio, where Birmingham companies have been reinventing their team dynamics since we opened. This 10m x 8m space has witnessed everything from tech startups mapping out their next product launch to law firms discovering their creative sides through movement workshops. Our floor-to-ceiling mirror wall runs the full length of one side, transforming ordinary meetings into something more engaging. Marketing teams use it for presentation practice, while HR departments run interview training sessions where body language becomes as important as words. The natural light streaming through our generous windows keeps energy levels high throughout even the longest strategy sessions. We configure the space differently each week, sometimes with chairs arranged theatre-style for 50 delegates watching a speaker, other times completely clear for 60 people mingling at a drinks reception. Our stackable seating disappears into storage when movement coaches arrive for corporate wellness sessions, or when creative agencies need open floor space for their ideation workshops. The neutral walls become projection surfaces for presentations, mood boards get taped up during brainstorming, and we've seen entire product roadmaps sketched directly onto our whiteboard walls. Being part of a working theatre means we understand staging and atmosphere, whether that's subtle lighting for a board meeting or creating zones for breakout discussions. Just steps from Jewellery Quarter station, our venue sits among Birmingham's creative businesses, and many local companies make our Studio their regular off-site meeting space. After sessions wrap up, groups often continue conversations in our bar area, where wooden furniture and cushioned seating create a relaxed environment for debriefing over coffee or something stronger.
