Our 120-acre estate in West Sussex provides the backdrop for some of the region's most memorable dining experiences, meetings, parties and weddings. The Jacobean mansion at Alexander House Hotel & Utopia Spa houses 58 individually designed rooms and suites, each featuring plush furnishings and spacious bathrooms that our guests particularly appreciate after a day of celebrations or meetings. For dining occasions, we offer two distinct experiences. AG's Restaurant, which holds three AA Rosettes, presents a seven-course tasting menu that transforms dinner into an event itself. Reflections Restaurant, with two AA Rosettes, provides a more relaxed setting perfect for business lunches or family gatherings. The 1608 Champagne Bar extends any dining experience with our extensive wine and champagne selection. Our meeting facilities include several boardrooms equipped with complimentary flipcharts, projectors, screens and comfortable seating. The flexible layouts work equally well for boardroom discussions, group workshops or brainstorming sessions. Free parking and estate-wide Wi-Fi support productive business gatherings, while our proximity to Gatwick Airport and London makes us easily accessible for delegates. Wedding celebrations take on a special character here. Our licensed marquee creates a beautiful outdoor ceremony space, and yes, we do have a helipad for those memorable arrivals. After exchanging vows, wedding parties move to our private dining rooms for banquet-style receptions accommodating up to 130 guests. Between events, guests often explore our facilities - the fitness center, tennis court, and croquet lawn provide active options, while complimentary bicycles let visitors discover the surrounding countryside. The award-winning Utopia Spa features 25 treatment rooms, including three for couples, plus our Grecian-inspired indoor pool, hydrotherapy pool, steam rooms, saunas, and the outdoor Zen garden complete with barrel sauna and hot tub.
