About Bowring Park and Golf Course
Our 18-hole course at Bowring Park and Golf Course stretches across the rolling landscape of Huyton, Liverpool, where golfers have been testing their skills since 1913. As England's oldest municipal golf course, we've watched generations of players tackle our par-71 layout, from beginners finding their swing to seasoned golfers navigating our more challenging holes. The Coach House overlooks the greens, and that's where you'll find our café and bar—perfect for post-meeting refreshments or working lunches with course views. We've recently added a new playground too, so colleagues with families can bring everyone along when they visit. For business needs, we offer several meeting spaces throughout our facilities. Our rooms work equally well for board meetings, training sessions, or team workshops. Each space comes with free on-site parking, and we can arrange AV equipment with technical support when you need it. The dining rooms accommodate larger groups, while our smaller breakout spaces suit focused discussions or one-on-ones. We run our corporate bookings with flexibility in mind—whether you need a room for two hours or want to establish a regular booking arrangement. Our catering team prepares everything from simple coffee and pastries to full lunch menus, working within your budget requirements. The public café remains open throughout the day if anyone needs an extra coffee between sessions. Beyond traditional meetings, we host society golf days where business groups combine networking with a round on the course. Our gardening clubs meet regularly in our spaces, and we run health walks through the grounds. The disc golf sessions have become particularly popular for team-building activities. Each month brings different community groups through our doors, from local business associations to charity organizations planning their next fundraising event.
