Our Georgian mansion on Charles Street brings together five centuries of architectural heritage with the practical needs of modern events. We've hosted everything from board meetings in the Churchill Room—where original Louis XIV walnut paneling creates an atmosphere of quiet authority—to wedding receptions that spill from the Long Drawing Room into our French-inspired courtyard. The Robert Adam fireplace in our main reception area sets the tone as guests arrive. We find people naturally gravitate toward it during networking events, using the marble surround as an impromptu meeting spot. Our Belgian marble staircase connects the ground floor to the individually designed rooms above, each with its own character defined by ornate ceilings and period details. For corporate meetings, we've equipped each room with mounted screens or projectors that blend discreetly into the historic interiors. The Small Drawing Room works particularly well for presentations to groups of 10-30, while larger conferences take advantage of the Long Drawing Room's capacity for up to 100 delegates in theatre style. Wedding couples often choose to exchange vows in our secluded courtyard, surrounded by climbing roses and the gentle splash of our fountain. The space transforms beautifully for summer parties too—we can accommodate 450 guests for standing receptions across all our rooms and outdoor areas. Our in-house catering team at H+J creates seasonal menus using sustainably sourced ingredients, whether you're planning an intimate dinner or a large-scale celebration. Being just minutes from Green Park station means your guests can easily reach us from anywhere in London.
