The Long Drawing Room catches afternoon light through its full-length sash windows, transforming the space as shadows play across the ornate carved ceiling throughout the day. We've watched countless events unfold here, from champagne receptions where guests cluster around the grand Adam's fireplace to formal dinners where candlelight reflects off the crystal chandeliers above. The room stretches along Charles Street, giving your guests those quintessentially Mayfair views while they mingle. We can accommodate 150 for standing receptions, though many prefer the intimacy of seated dinners for up to 100. The original 18th-century wall moldings and period details create natural conversation points, particularly during networking events when people discover the intricate craftsmanship up close. Our events team arranges the space to suit your specific needs, whether that's theatre-style seating for presentations, cabaret rounds for interactive workshops, or long banquet tables for celebration dinners. The draped windows soften the acoustics beautifully, making speeches and toasts carry without echo.
