Step through the stone archway into our Courtyard, and you'll find yourself in what feels like a private French garden right in Mayfair. The fountain at the centre has become something of a focal point during parties, with guests naturally gathering around its gentle cascade for conversations over champagne. We've arranged wrought iron furniture throughout the space, creating intimate corners where small groups can chat while still being part of the larger celebration. The courtyard works brilliantly for summer wedding receptions and corporate parties alike. We can host up to 150 guests for standing receptions here, with the stone archways and climbing greenery creating natural boundaries that make the space feel both expansive and intimate. During evening events, the architectural details throw interesting shadows as the sun sets, and we often see photographers taking advantage of these moments. Our in-house catering team at H+J brings food and drinks directly from the main house through the connecting doors, so service flows smoothly without disrupting the atmosphere. The British menu changes with the seasons, and our bar service runs until 21:30. We've installed a discrete PA system that ensures speeches and background music reach every corner without overwhelming conversation. The courtyard transforms remarkably through the day. Morning corporate gatherings benefit from the natural light and fresh air, while afternoon wedding receptions take on a garden party feel.
