Coffee aromas fill the air at Esquires Coffee Balham, where we've transformed our 75 Bedford Hill café into a creative hub for parties and gatherings. Just a short walk from both Balham tube and train stations, we're tucked between Clapham South and Wandsworth Common, making it easy for your guests to find us. Our building spans 1800 square feet across multiple floors, each with its own character. The downstairs lounge stretches across 800 square feet and comfortably fits 50 people - we've hosted everything from art classes where easels line the walls to birthday parties that spill into dancing as the night goes on. Head upstairs and you'll find our 1000 square foot room that seats 40, where the natural light streams through during afternoon celebrations and the space transforms beautifully for evening private dining. When the weather cooperates, our 700 square foot garden becomes the star. We can fit 30 guests among the greenery, and summer parties here tend to run late into warm evenings. For bigger celebrations, you can take over the entire coffee shop and bring in 80 friends - we've seen some fantastic exhibitions spread across all our spaces. We know food matters at parties, so our kitchen stays busy preparing from our extensive vegan menu. If you have a specific caterer in mind, we're happy to work with external catering too. The Wi-Fi keeps everyone connected, our air conditioning maintains comfort year-round, and we have audio-visual equipment ready for presentations or background music. Our team believes in supporting creative energy - it's why we originally opened as both a café and coworking space. That same spirit carries through when we host your celebrations, from intimate book launches to full-scale corporate parties.
