Our 1905 Dutch barge sits quietly tucked away on Bristol's waterfront, where corporate teams regularly trade their usual meeting rooms for something rather different. The Bridge Room upstairs catches everyone off guard. Original walnut floors creak gently underfoot while harbor light streams through oversized windows. We've kept the historic maps on the walls from the barge's cargo days, and they never fail to spark conversation during coffee breaks. Twenty-four people fit comfortably in cabaret style, though we often rearrange for boardroom sessions with 14 or theatre setup for 30. Below deck, The Hold Studio tells its own story. This 90m² black box space once housed Bristol's ferry boat workshop, and we've preserved that industrial character while adding everything modern meetings need. The integrated sound system handles presentations beautifully, our projector throws crisp images even in daylight, and the full lighting rig adapts to whatever atmosphere you're after. Film crews love the soundproofing - no seagull interruptions during important takes. We run on solar power when the Bristol sun cooperates, and our energy-efficient systems keep things comfortable year-round. Professional equipment hire saves you hauling gear across the gangplank, and yes, we handle live streaming for hybrid meetings. Teams consistently tell us how the water setting shifts their thinking. One recent group mentioned their quarterly meeting here produced their best brainstorming session yet. Another said our lunch spread was the highlight (our galley team takes that seriously). All round amazing space. From a viewing to all the comms and the day itself, the staff were totally delightful. Lovely space to inhabit. Food was fantastic. Can't recommend it enough

This is a brilliant venue. We used it for our team quarterly’s meeting. Communication was clear and efficient, the lunch was excellent, and the team checked in periodically to see if we needed anything. We will certainly use them again.
