You'll find us on a quiet Chelsea side street, though 'quiet' is relative when your terrace is packed with locals enjoying Aperol spritzes on a summer evening. Manicomio Chelsea feels like that restaurant you'd stumble upon in Rome—if Roman restaurants had pristine London service and a hidden garden that blooms with jasmine in June. Our conservatory is probably why most people book us. Glass walls, garden views, space for 30 seated comfortably or 60 mingling with prosecco. But the courtyard is the real gem—heated, lit with strings of warm bulbs, and completely private. Birthday parties tend to spill out here naturally as the evening progresses. The kitchen knows its strengths: simple Italian food done properly. We'll work with you on menus that make sense for your event, whether that's cicchetti and cocktails or a proper sit-down feast. All the technical bits are covered (AV equipment, microphones for speeches, accessible throughout), but honestly, most parties here are too busy enjoying themselves to need much amplification.
