We've been welcoming guests to the Red Lion Hotel since the 1700s, when our building first served as a farmhouse in Todwick village. Today, you'll find us just off the A57, about a mile from Junction 31 of the M1, making us easy to reach whether you're coming from Sheffield or further afield. Our 30 en-suite bedrooms each tell their own story through original oak beams and carefully preserved period features. We've kept the flagstone floors and open fires that give our public areas their distinctive character, while ensuring every modern comfort is at your fingertips. For those planning a wedding, our bridal suite offers that extra special touch for your big day. We're also happy to welcome well-behaved dogs in selected rooms - just let us know when booking. Our function rooms have hosted countless weddings and business meetings over the years. We can accommodate up to 60 guests for a seated meal during the day, or 120 for an evening buffet celebration. The exposed beams and warm lighting create an intimate setting that works beautifully for both corporate gatherings and personal celebrations. In our restaurant, our chefs prepare everything from perfectly cooked steaks to our famous Sunday roasts using locally sourced ingredients where possible. The bar stocks a rotating selection of cask ales alongside carefully chosen wines - we're particularly proud of our relationships with regional breweries. From here, you can explore Bolsover Castle, venture into the Peak District, or conduct business in Sheffield - all within easy reach.
