About Pitzhanger Manor and Gallery
Sir John Soane built his country home in Walpole Park to be a party house, and we've been carrying on that tradition since 1800. Our Grade I listed manor in Ealing transforms beautifully for weddings, corporate gatherings, private celebrations and cultural events, with rooms that truly come alive when filled with champagne toasts and conversation. We offer several distinct spaces across the manor and grounds. The Georgian Eating Room retains all of Soane's original architectural details - the very same room where he entertained J.M.W. Turner and other distinguished guests. Our Conservatory floods with natural light through Soane's innovative glazing design, creating an airy setting for daytime meetings or cocktail receptions. The contemporary Pitzhanger Gallery provides our largest space, perfect for wedding receptions or corporate presentations. Beyond hiring our spaces, we run guided tours that reveal Soane's architectural innovations throughout the house - from the dramatic top-lit breakfast room to the library where he displayed his collection. Our education team delivers workshops and programs that bring the manor's history to life. The café in Walpole Park serves refreshments to your guests, with views across the grounds where Soane himself once fished in the Serpentine. Working here, we see how Soane's design choices still shape events today.
