About The Bridge Tavern
Right underneath the Tyne Bridge's steel arches, we brew our own beer and welcome groups looking for something different than your typical party venue. The Bridge Tavern combines the raw character of our industrial heritage with the warmth of a proper Newcastle pub. Our microbrewery partnership with Wylam Brewery means we're constantly creating new cask and keg ales – Tavernale being the one our regulars keep coming back for. The exposed brick walls and original steel columns from the bridge construction give the space its distinctive character, while our kitchen team focuses on seasonal British dishes made with ingredients from local suppliers. We do everything from quick bar snacks to proper Sunday roasts that'll sort you out after a big night. For parties, we've got two distinct spaces that work brilliantly. Our ground-floor beer garden catches the afternoon sun perfectly, while the rooftop terrace stays sheltered when Newcastle weather does its thing. Both areas can be reserved for groups, and we'll work with you to sort out food and drink packages that make sense for your event. We're set up for all sorts of gatherings – birthday parties, work celebrations, or just getting your mates together for a proper session. The whole place has disabled access, we've got decent Wi-Fi throughout, and yes, your dog's welcome too.
