About Ulster Museum
The Ulster Museum stands as one of Belfast's most distinctive meeting venues, where our collection galleries create an inspiring backdrop for your professional gatherings. We're right here in the Botanic Gardens, offering three distinct spaces that bring something different to corporate meetings and conferences. Our Atrium transforms meetings into experiences – this four-story space floods with natural light and showcases our national collections all around. We can configure it for presentations or networking events for up to 200 attendees. The space works brilliantly for product launches or corporate receptions where you want to make an impression. For board meetings or executive sessions, we recommend our Belfast Room. This original 1929 gallery maintains its period character while providing all the modern tech you need. We seat up to 100 people here, and the room's heritage features often spark interesting conversations during coffee breaks. Our Lecture Theatre handles formal presentations beautifully, with tiered seating for 150 delegates. We've equipped it with full AV capabilities, and the acoustics are excellent – no straining to hear speakers at the back. What sets us apart for corporate events is how we operate. After 5pm, your group has exclusive access to the museum spaces. We only book one event per day, so our events team focuses entirely on your requirements. They'll work with you on everything from room layouts to catering arrangements. The location in Botanic Gardens means easy access from Belfast city center, with good transport links for delegates. We find the museum setting helps people think differently – being surrounded by art and history tends to inspire fresh perspectives during meetings and workshops.
