Our Grade II listed building brings together Wakefield's heritage with the technology your meetings demand. Unity Hall and Business Space sits right in the city centre, making it easy for your team to reach us - we're minutes from the M1/M62 junction and just a short walk from Westgate station on the Leeds to London route. The Major Hall spans 3,000 square feet beneath original stained-glass windows and high ceilings. We've kept the wooden flooring that gives the space its character while installing everything you need for presentations - the ceiling-mounted projector, wall screen, and PA system with voice-enhanced microphones are all built in. This space works brilliantly for large conferences with up to 800 people standing, though we often see companies use it for more intimate setups too. Our Minor Hall offers 1,000 square feet for smaller gatherings of up to 200 standing guests. Like all our spaces, it comes with high-speed broadband, hearing induction loops, and free WiFi as standard. Conference Rooms 1 and 2 provide more traditional meeting environments, each equipped with DVD players, laptop inputs at the lectern, and telephone connectivity. Beyond meetings, we host everything from corporate training days to charity events. The fully stocked bar helps when you want to turn a conference into a networking session, and our sound systems handle presentations just as well as evening entertainment. Public parking nearby means your guests won't struggle to find spaces, even during busy periods. We also offer full-term office lets within this historic co-operative building.
