The Georgian floorboards in our entrance hall have welcomed countless guests since Vincent Van Gogh himself walked these same boards in 1873. Van Gogh House stands as a carefully restored Grade II listed terrace in Stockwell, where original architectural details meet thoughtful modern additions throughout our distinctive event spaces. Our venue spreads across multiple characterful rooms, each telling its own story through preserved period features. The contemporary extension floods with natural light, opening directly onto our garden where we've planted flowers that would have been familiar to Van Gogh during his London stay. For party hosts, we offer flexible layouts that work beautifully for private dinners, supper clubs, and sophisticated product launches. The intimate scale of our rooms creates perfect settings for gatherings where conversation flows as freely as the wine. We've equipped the house with everything modern events require - reliable Wi-Fi keeps everyone connected, while our projector, flipchart and PA system support presentations or background music. Our in-house catering team prepares everything from elegant canapés to full dinner menus, with extensive vegan and gluten-free options ensuring every guest feels considered. The kitchen works directly with our events to deliver seamless service throughout your celebration. Getting here couldn't be simpler - we're just moments from Stockwell tube station. However, as a historic Georgian property, our layout includes steep stairs and narrow passageways typical of the period. While this adds to the authentic atmosphere, it does mean we cannot provide step-free access throughout the building.
