Every surface tells a story at Vout-O-Reenees – our hand-painted walls, ceilings, and floors transform the ancient crypt beneath the 19th-century Church of the English Martyrs into something extraordinary. We're tucked away at 30 Prescot Street in London E1 8BB, where the vaulted stone architecture of this former church crypt creates an intimate underground world unlike any other party venue in the city. Our members' club can accommodate 125 guests for standing receptions or 50 for seated dinners, with the crypt's natural acoustics adding depth to every conversation and performance. The Stash Gallery runs throughout our space, where contemporary artists who work outside mainstream considerations display pieces inspired by Surrealism – these rotating exhibitions mean your event backdrop changes with each visit. We've equipped the venue with everything needed for memorable celebrations: our fully stocked bar serves classic cocktails alongside wines, beers, spirits, and chilled champagne, while our in-house catering team creates menus tailored to each event. The performance area features a piano that's seen everything from jazz sessions to impromptu singalongs, supported by our professional PA system and projector for presentations or visual displays. Our outdoor private patio offers a breather from the underground atmosphere, doubling as a smoking area where guests can chat under the stars. Friday and Saturday nights run until 2am, giving private parties, weddings, corporate gatherings, product launches, and fashion shows plenty of time to unfold. Just minutes from Tower Hill, Aldgate, and Aldgate East stations, we're easy to find yet feel wonderfully removed from the everyday. Annual membership runs £375 plus a £100 initial registration, which includes invitations to exclusive events and our limited edition Vout-O-Reenee's dictionary – though we welcome non-members to book our space for private events too.
