We transform the Picture Gallery into something special for every celebration. Hogarth's paintings watch over your guests as they dine beneath ornate chandeliers, their warm light reflecting off the polished parquet floors. This is where history meets hospitality, where your party unfolds surrounded by one of London's finest collections of 18th-century portraits. The gallery accommodates 150 guests for drinks receptions or 110 for seated dinners. We've hosted everything from milestone birthdays to corporate celebrations here, arranging the space with long banquet tables for formal dinners or clearing the floor for dancing. Natural light pours through tall windows overlooking Brunswick Square during daytime events, while evenings take on an intimate glow from our period lighting. Our 1923 Broadwood grand piano sits ready for live performances, adding musical elegance to your celebration. We provide complimentary Wi-Fi, a PA system for speeches, and a Samsung TV screen for any presentations or photo slideshows you might want to share. The adjoining Court Room offers additional space for pre-dinner drinks or a quieter area for conversations. Working with our approved caterers, we create menus that match your vision, from canapés and champagne to five-course dinners. Our bar suppliers know exactly how to set up service without disrupting the artwork, keeping drinks flowing throughout your event. Russell Square tube station is a five-minute walk away, with King's Cross and Euston also nearby. We have lift access to all floors, making the gallery accessible for all your guests. Previous hosts have particularly appreciated our helpful staff and the unique atmosphere the artwork creates, though we recommend informing guests about our 5:30pm museum closing time to avoid confusion for any latecomers.
